Our Toddler Program is tailored to be an interactive experience between the classroom, the teacher, and children. We follow The Learning Box curriculum, which teaches children shapes, letters, numbers, colors, other pre readiness concept, and much of these through sensory play. Each class is designed with age appropriate toys, furniture, and learning centers. Your little one will enjoy daily interactive music and movement, along with hands-on praise and worship with a Bible story.
Preschool 3yr Program:
We use the highly acclaimed Abeka curriculum with our students. Children are encouraged to learn through engaging, hands-on approaches that allow each child to explore their surroundings. Activities are teacher directed, and also child directed. We understand your preschooler is ready to go and we celebrate each child’s achievements, as they learn and grow everyday with us. Each day children will participate in an upbeat praise and worship time, followed by a Bible story.
Pre-Kindergarten Program:
Our Pre-K Program is designed to give students the confidence and preparedness for kindergarten. We follow the outstanding Abeka curriculum, and also incorporate customized lesson plans. Our teachers encourage individual independence to ensure students have a smooth transition into kindergarten. Our Pre-Kindergarten Program includes: *Phonics *Blending letters *Sight words and word families *Simple addition and subtraction problems *Fine motor skills and handwriting development *Outdoor play, music, and movement *Praise and Worship with a Bible story
Before & After School Program:
Our before and after school program gives school age children a place to unwind, relax and hang out with friends. We provide multiple games and activities, along with a full meal for children to feel right at home. Our after school teachers assist children with homework in a structured environment. Houston Kidz Center offers before and after school transportation to nearby public schools. We also accommodate special scheduled off days of local school districts.
